Trying to predict referrals is a waste of time!

When discussing the value of referrals recently one of the group said that they were great but he wouldn’t want to rely on them as they were too much by chance and he couldn’t predict when they would come.

Not only is this fiction but it is dangerous as well.

With a good referral marketing programme it is easy to predict not only what referrals you will get but also from whom and when.

The key is to build a pipeline of referrals so that you get a steady and reliable source of referrals that are exactly what you are looking for. No “by chance” or “occasionally” or even “by surprise”.
