It appears that the financial crisis may not be as bad as first thought or so some experts are saying.
Now whether that is true or not is not the point of this article. Disaster came close. And I wonder, in the light of that potential disaster, how many business people have made changes to the way they do business.
Climate change alone demands we all analyse how we do business. And the threat of a world financial meltdown surely must make us all even more cognisant of the need for change.
So what changes are you making?
As for me I am stepping up my relationship building because it is the depth of my business relationships that will help me through future difficult times.
I am making more phone calls to just “touch base and say hello”.
I am sending more cards that just say “ I was thinking of you”.
I am sending video emails that allow me to put my face and voice in front of my clients.
In other words I am doing more of what I should have been doing when times were good.
So what plans do you have to build better and stronger relationships? And more to the point have you enacted them yet?
