Let's Find Anybody


Most people would agree with the saying “be careful what you ask for… because you just might get it”.

Nowhere is it as important as when you are training a sales team. They need to know exactly what to look for. This applies to any team environment from a networking group like BNI to the sales team of a large corporation.

So imagine how difficult it is to help someone who says “a good referral for me is anybody who...”.

Let’s play with that approach for just a minute! Open up your favourite web browser and type into Google the word “anybody”. Or the word ”anyone” or any other similar generic term.

I tried it and got “about 120,000,000” sites. Even Google could not tell me exactly how many there were.

So how hard will it be for your sales team when you say “a good referral for me is anybody who...”?

Rather the entrepreneur who asks for exactly what he or she wants because they usually get it.

Let’s get specific and give our team a fighting chance of being able to help us!
